As part of a global school twinning project, 10 teachers from King David Linksfield, Victory Park and Sandton recently visited their twin school in Beith Shemesh/Mateh Yehuda in Israel. This is a flagship project of the Israel Centre’s Partnership2gether programme.
This mutually beneficial programme, pairs together selected grades at King David Primary Schools with a matching grade at a school in Israel. The KD teachers had the privilege and opportunity to teach various lessons to the students with whom their classes are currently twinned. They also attended a twinning seminar which helped connect and deepen the relationship between South Africa and Israel and the schools and classes that have paired up.
